WHAT TYPE OF NOVUM WALL DO I NEED?
Gravity Walls
With Novum Wall’s patented knob and groove technology, you’ll build stout gravity walls up to 6 ft (1.8 m) tall in even the smallest installation footprints.
Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Walls
Need Novum to go taller? No worries. In the right site conditions, you can reach heights of 21 ft (6.4 m) or more with a Novum MSE (reinforced) wall using a friction connection or its integrated Positive Connection (PC) capability.
Freestanding Walls
Add freestanding walls to the top of gravity or MSE projects to create parapet walls or use freestanding walls as standalone structures. In the final stages of our rigorous testing protocols, Novum freestanding walls are expected to be available in early 2025.

Maximize Space
Able to handle significant loads even without reinforcement, Novum Wall is an excellent choice when you need to get the most out of your property or support important infrastructure like parking lots. Handle small installation footprints or navigate nearby utilities with ease and confidence.
Control Water
Wet cast production means lower porosity and higher durability, giving Novum Wall a clear edge over dry cast SRWs in water applications like storm channels, retention/detention basins, and marine walls. Its smaller size also allows it to be transported and installed in tight residential spaces like those found on inland lakes and rivers.
Manage Grades
Handle steep or uneven grades by stabilizing soil and preventing erosion with Novum Wall. Make land more usable for landscaping, construction, or pathways with Novum’s gravity or MSE wall options.

What types of walls can I create with Novum Wall?
You can build gravity and MSE (reinforced) walls with Novum Wall. Freestanding walls are slated to be available in early 2025.
How tall can I build with Novum Wall?
The sweet spot for Novum Wall’s gravity solution is 4-6 ft (1.2-1.8 m). With geogrid reinforcement, Novum Wall can reach as high as 20 ft (6 m) depending on site conditions. However, Redi-Rock may be a more cost-effective solution for a taller wall.
Will Novum Wall work for water applications?
Since Novum Wall blocks are produced from wet cast concrete, they offer considerably less porosity than dry cast SRW blocks. This helps prevent water from entering the block and ensures a longer lifespan for your wall than a dry cast alternative.
What setback options are available for my Novum Wall project?
Features like texture, color, and setback are selected by your local dealer, but Novum Wall blocks can be produced with five-degree (5°) or zero-degree (0°) setbacks.
